Lewis County Auditor’s Office Mailing Out 34,720 Ballots on Wednesday

On Wednesday, July 12, the Lewis County Auditor’s Office will be mailing out  Aug. 1 primary election ballots to all active registered voters within the cities of Centralia, Morton and Winlock, according to a news release. 

Additionally, registered voters within the Castle Rock, Chehalis, Eatonville and Toledo school districts will also be mailed their primary ballots, as will voters living within Lewis County fire districts 3, 5, 6 and 20. 

In total, 34,720 ballots will be sent. On June 6, 363 primary ballots were mailed overseas to military members. 

According to the release, voters can expect their ballots to arrive between July 17 and 21. If a voter doesn’t get their ballot by July 21, they have several options to get a replacement ballot including: 



• Visiting www.votewa.gov, logging in, selecting “My Ballot,” then “Online Ballot” and printing a replacement ballot.

• Calling the Auditor’s Office at 360-740-1278 or 360-740-1164 or toll free within Lewis County at 1-800-562-6130, ext. 1164 or 1278, to request a replacement ballot.

• Visiting the Auditor’s Office in person for a replacement ballot in the Lewis County Historic Courthouse at 351 NW North St. in Chehalis. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
