Are you civic-minded? Do you want a way to impact the community around you? Nominees are needed to fill seats on two Lewis County advisory boards.

The county Planning Commission and the Lewis-Mason-Thurston Area Agency on Aging (LMTAAA) Advisory Council have open seats. The Lewis County Board of Commissioners will accept applications until 3 p.m. on Oct. 19 to fill the roles.

To apply, submit both an application and a letter of interest to Board of County Commissioners Clerk Rieva Lester. Applications can be submitted to Room 210 of the historic courthouse at 351 NW North St. in Chehalis, via mail to the same address, or emailed to Committees@LewisCountywa.gov. Email applications should include either “Planning Commission” or “LMTAAA” in the subject line.
