Lewis County Master Gardeners’ annual ‘Gardening For Everyone’ spring event is April 12

The WSU Extension Lewis County Master Gardeners will host its annual all-day "Gardening For Everyone” spring event on Saturday, April 12, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Centralia College’s Washington Hall.

“This event is designed for gardeners of all skill levels and will feature a series of workshops covering a variety of gardening and horticultural topics,” Lewis County Master Gardeners said in a news release. “Participants will gain valuable insights, practical tips, and hands-on experience in a fun and informative setting.”

The workshop schedule includes a rain gardens and weed management session and an edible microgreens session from 9 to 10:30 a.m.; an attracting local pollinators session and a rose care and pruning session from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.; and a mason and leafcutter bees session and a succulents and sedums session from 12:45 to 2:15 p.m.

In addition to the workshops, the event will host a variety of community partners and vendors, including the Stream Team, Master Composters and Recyclers, Master Food Preservers and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with local service providers and businesses, learn about their offerings and receive expert advice on a wide range of topics.



Lewis County Master Gardeners’ plant clinic will also be open and staffed for attendees to get their gardening questions answered.
