The Lewis County Board of Health is seeking applicants to serve on the Lewis County Public Health and Social Services Advisory Board.
Only Lewis County residents are eligible for the positions. Applications are due by 3 p.m. on March 3.
There are two member position vacancies to fill. One is for a medical provider and one is an at-large position with no specific required expertise.
At-large positions are for individuals with a general interest in investigating local health policy and providing recommendations regarding health matters in Lewis County.
Less than one year remains on each of the terms, with an end date of Dec. 31 for both.
The 11-member volunteer board focuses on providing recommendations to the Board of Health regarding a variety of community health, environmental health and social service issues.
Applications will be presented to the Lewis County Board of Health at its next meeting on March 10.
