The Onalaska softball team had a solid day at the plate in Toutle on Monday, but the Loggers couldn’t keep pace with Toutle Lake in a 21-11 loss.
Onalaska scored five runs in the first two innings, four in the fourth, and two in the sixth, but Toutle Lake scored five or more runs in three innings to build a lead regardless.
Braelyn Babb hit two doubles and drove in three runs, while Randi Haight went 3 for 4 with four RBIs.
Jaelyn Auman added two hits, including a triple, and an RBI, and Kaiyah Sandridge hit two doubles, drove in a run, and scored four times. Kate Zandell also tallied three hits and scored three runs.
Onalaska (3-7, 1-2 C2BL) will head to Rochester for a non-league test on Tuesday.
