The Onalaska High School softball team got plenty of cardio with a pair of inside the park home runs and a handful of extra base hits in an 18-8 victory over Winlock on Thursday night at home.
Jaelyn Auman and Randi Haight had home runs the hard way and Kate Zandell left the yard. Those three also had a double and Auman finished with four hits. Two eighth graders Payton Iverson and Kennedy Kinsman each recorded two hits.
The Loggers (2-1) will battle Ocosta on Friday while Winlock (0-4) looks to get its first win on Saturday versus Mossyrock in a non-league contest.
