Onalaska scored on its first five offensive plays of the game and the Loggers made quick work of visiting Stevenson, shelling the Bulldogs 60-0 during senior night and homecoming on Thursday.

“It’s always good to get a win on senior night and homecoming,” Onalaska coach Mazen Saade said.

Senior bruiser Marshall Haight exploded for 231 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 10 carries, with touchdowns of 50 and 40 yards on the Loggers’ first two offensive snaps of the game.

Kolby Mozingo carried the rock four times for 45 yards and a score, Gunnar Talley added two carries for 39 yards and a TD and Tuff Lyons had 33 yards and a score on four touches.

“Marshall and the backs ran hard and Kayden (Mozingo) orchestrated the offense,” Saade said. “Really impressed with how the offensive line blocked.”

While the offense provided the points, the Loggers’ defense shut down the Bulldogs at every turn, limiting Stevenson to just 24 total yards, including 7 on the ground.

“Defensively, the kids played well,” Saade said. “Juan Ibarra, Kolby and Gunnar played exceptional this week, and in practice.”

Onalaska finishes its regular season with a 3-5 overall record and 5-1 in league. The Loggers host Morton-White Pass in a district crossover matchup at 7 p.m. on either Friday, Nov. 5 or Saturday, Nov. 6, with the winner advancing to state.
