Loggers run wild over Ilwaco

The Onalaska girls soccer team kept its statkeepers busy all night long at home Monday, thrashing Ilwaco 9-1 in a Central 2B League showdown.

Randi Haight bagged a hat trick in the first 17 minutes, with Jules Auman assisting two of the goals and Kaiyah Sandridge helping on one.

Leighton Underhill and Oleana Rimmereid added goals in the first half to make it 5-1 going into the break. 

Auman and Sandridge both scored goals of their own in the first seven minutes of the second half, and Abby Ellis and Gracin Vickers rounded out the scoring on the night.

Jaycee Talley led the defense with 11 interceptions and also logged an assist, while Kiley Talley had eight clearances.

Onalaska will stay at home to host Toutle Lake on Wednesday.
