Paced by a solid offensive outing, the Onalaska boys basketball team got back in the win column Tuesday night on the road, beating South Bend in a non-league 2B matchup, 58-48.
The Loggers were led by the balanced scoring of Blaze Underhill and Nick Rushton, who scored 19 and 15 points, respectively.
“Big win for these guys after a tough stretch of games,” Ony coach Brent Wood said. “South Bend made us execute and I’m proud of our guys for not settling for 3’s and getting to the hoop. Blaze played a large part in that tonight offensively. Hopefully we can build off of it heading into Mossyrock.”
The Loggers take on the Vikings on Friday in Mossyrock.
