It was an extra base hit party for the Centralia High School softball team and Adrianna Lynch was the host, roping three doubles as part of a four-hit day and be the engine of a 10-0, five-inning victory over Mossyrock at Fort Borst Park.
Lynch, the Tigers leadoff hitter, had a two-bagger in the first, second and third frames. Her last two drove in three runs and she also scored the game-ending run in the fifth. She also recorded a pair of stolen bases.
In total, Centralia (2-0) ended the night with seven doubles. Jaden Johnson recorded two along with three RBIs while Brooklyn Sprague and McKenna Smith each had one. MadDog Rothdeutsch was 3-for-3 with two runs scored. Smith dazzled in the circle with five strikeouts and allowed just two hits.
For Mossyrock (0-1), Adrianna Morales and Zoella Zavodsky each had a hit. The Vikings will battle Onalaska in a non-league game on Thursday while Centralia takes on another C2BL foe in Toledo, also on Thursday.
