Man faces possible charges for June 25 rollover collision in Lewis County

A 60-year-old Everett man is facing possible second-degree negligent driving charges after he reportedly struck the jersey barrier on northbound Interstate 5 near milepost 66 and rolled on June 25.

The crash was reported at approximately 12:50 a.m., according to the Washington State Patrol.



The driver, identified by the state patrol as Thomas L. Lakey, and his passenger, a 52-year-old Everett woman, were transported to Providence Centralia Hospital for medical treatment.

The cause of the crash was “speeds too fast for conditions,” according to the state patrol.
