A man was stabbed in the head during a fight in Pioneer Square on Monday afternoon, according to the Seattle Police Department.
Officers responded to Third Avenue and James Street a little after 5 p.m. Monday after multiple witnesses reported a fight. They found a man who had been involved in the fight with a stab wound to “the head area,” police said in a post on the department's website.
The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition after officers provided aid and Seattle Fire Department medics began lifesaving efforts.
No suspect has been taken into custody, and the man was not cooperative and didn’t want to speak with officers, police said. Seattle police continue to investigate.
