Francisco Prater, 23, the Edmonds man who rapped under the stage name “Cisco Go Crazy,” pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of third-degree rape last week in Lewis County Superior Court.
Prater was previously charged with second-degree rape for allegedly having sex with a woman incapable of consenting due to intoxication.
He faces up to five years in prison and $10,000 in fines, though court documents state that the prosecuting attorney will recommend six months custody with credit for time served, along with 12 months of community custody and any psychosexual treatment suggested upon evaluation. The state is also expected to recommend a five-year no-contact order on behalf of the victim.
The incident occurred at a party in Randle on Jan. 6, 2020. Two other defendants were charged in the rape case, Lathan Moses Echols and Joshua Darrow, who also perform as rappers under the names Lil Mosey and Bandkidjay.
Echols’ and Darrow’s cases were separated from Prater’s in February of 2023. They were acquitted by a jury in Lewis County that March after about seven hours of deliberation.
Echols, 23, currently has over 5 million monthly Spotify listeners.
Prater declined to make a statement in his written guilty plea dated Sept. 17, 2025. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for Oct. 15, following a presentence investigation.
Prater was initially charged in April 2021.
