The Mat Rats Rebooted Wrestling Team shined at the 2026 USA Wrestling Women’s National Championships last week, as three wrestlers notched fourth-place finishes.

In the 10U division, Addie Ojard (90 lbs) and Brooklynn West (67) “displayed incredible technique and grit” to notch their spots in the top four, according to Mat Rats coach Tyler Ragsac.

Both Ojard and West fell in the quarterfinals, but they both picked up two straight wins in the consolation sub-semifinals and consolation semifinals to earn a spot in the third-place match.

Joining them on the podium was Charlie Wheeler, who notched a team-high 27 points in a tough 14U 120-pound bracket on her way to a fourth-place finish. Wheeler picked up wins in the Round of 16 and quarterfinals and eventually won a consolation semifinal to earn her fourth-place spot.

Each of those three earned All-American honors, as did Evalyn Martinez and Camryn Reeson, who both finished sixth in their brackets, and Harper Anderson, who placed eighth in hers.

Reeson won two straight after losing her first match to earn a spot in the fifth-place match, while Martinez made it to the semis before eventually placing sixth.

“Across every division, the Lady Rats showed resilience and a willingness to compete at a high level,” Ragsac said.
