With 10-foot-by-10-foot vendor spots available to rent throughout both days for $25, members of the Mineral Lake Lions Club are preparing to host the inaugural Mineral Lake Lions Den Campground Yard Sale for community members in the area on Saturday, Aug. 9, and Sunday, Aug. 10.
Those wishing to secure a vendor space must do so by Saturday, Aug. 2, according to the yard sale’s Facebook page. Payment must be made in person at the Lions Den Campground, located at 113 E. Front Street in Mineral.
“Let’s kick off this new community tradition, support a great cause, and turn clutter into cash,” the Facebook post stated.
Along with organizing and hosting the annual Mineral Lake Fishing Derby and running the Lions Den Campground, the Mineral Lake Lions Club also organizes other events in the Mineral community, including the Light Up Mineral Christmas light contest and the Campfire Concert Series.
Those participating and selling items during the yard sale must take all unsold items with them upon the events end on Sunday.
