The Mineral Lake Lions Den Campground, located on the south shore of Mineral Lake at 113 E. Front St., on Tuesday announced “the highly requested addition” of a brand new shower facility.
This long-awaited amenity has been introduced to enhance the camping experience for visitors in time for the upcoming 32nd Annual Mineral Lake Fishing Derby, which takes place Saturday, April 26, through Sunday, April 27.
According to the news release from the Mineral Lake Lions, the shower facility features three private stalls, each offering five minutes of hot water for $2.
The showers are exclusively available to guests with paid campsite reservations, “ensuring a clean and convenient experience for all campers,” the release stated.
“We’re delighted to offer this highly requested amenity to our campers,” Mineral Lake Lions stated in the release. “The addition of the shower facility reflects our commitment to continually improving the campground and providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience for our guests.”
The Mineral Lake Lions Den Campground officially opens its 2025 season just before the fishing derby, making it ideal for participants and spectators alike.

“Early booking is recommended, as the fishing derby attracts visitors from across the region eager to enjoy Mineral Lake’s renowned trout fishing and vibrant community atmosphere,” Mineral Lake Lions stated in the release.

The Mineral Lake Lions Den Campground is owned and operated by the Mineral Lake Lions Club, which has been serving the community since 1952.
