One person was transported to a hospital as a precautionary measure after they were involved in a rollover collision on the Mellen Street on-ramp to Interstate 5 in Centralia on Monday.

The two-vehicle collision was reported just after 7:15 p.m. on June 26, at which point the Riverside Fire Authority and the Washington State Patrol were dispatched to the scene.

Crews were initially told one person was trapped inside the rolled-over vehicle, but that was not the case, according to the Riverside Fire Authority.

Diesel fuel from the rolled-over truck did spill onto the roadway as a result of the crash, but it did not enter the waterway, according to Riverside.

No significant injuries were reported.

The cause of the crash was not publicly available as of Tuesday afternoon.
