The Kelso Police Department has confirmed that the body found in the Coweeman River Saturday afternoon belongs to the missing Californian who was in the area for work.
According to a post on the Kelso Police Department's Facebook page, the body of Shun Riley was discovered in the Coweeman River near Manasco Drive around 3:13 p.m.
The cause of his death has not been determined, and the investigation is ongoing.
Riley was last seen leaving the Comfort Inn & Suites on Three Rivers Drive in Kelso at about 2:40 a.m. May 9 and was reported to be in distress, according to a statement from the Kelso Police Department.
