The Mill Town Smokehouse will hold a monthly Bowl-a-Thon on March 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 834 Westlake Ave. in Morton.
Bowl-a-Thon is sponsored by the Morton Seniors Advisory Board, which provides services to local senior citizens through the Morton Senior Center.
There will be teams of four, each of which requires a $150 sponsorship to participate. Of that fee, $100 will go to the Morton Senior Center in addition to other donations and raffle proceeds.
The Morton Seniors Advisory Board works to provide Morton seniors opportunities to gather for social activities, access to professional support systems and share with the community their special gifts and talents. The board will provide raffle items during the event to increase support for the Morton Senior Center.
The Bowl-a-Thon is open to anyone who wishes to attend and support the cause.
