Mossyrock claims defensive tussle over RSB

The claim to fame for the Vikings has been their defense over the last two years and that continued on Thursday night, upending the Ravens 37-28 in Raymond in a non-league contest between District 4 foes.

Three different Mossyrock (4-2) players had at least four fouls, but only allowing at maximum eight points in a quarter kept it in control of the scoreboard. It’s the second straight game it has allowed exactly 28 points.

“I was happy with our effort and resilience,” Vikings head coach Nick Rashoff said. “Our defense and rebounding was pretty good all night and offensively we hit big shots at the right times.”

Adyson Barrows led the Vikings with 17 points while Maci Rashoff added eight. They will look to extend their winning streak against rival and current unbeaten Morton-White Pass on Saturday in a non-league tilt.
