Ignited by 14 service aces and prowess in the back row, the Vikings posted a non-league sweep over the Riverhawks 25-15, 25-15, 25-5 on Thursday night at home.
Taylor Schwartz ended with a team-best five aces and eight digs, tied with the second most alongside Renzy Marshall. Adyson Barrows led with nine digs while Erin Cournyer chipped in six.
Mossyrock dominated each set and blew Toledo away in the third. Cournyer dished out 19 assists in a balanced attack with Barrows and Saydi Mendoza tying for the team lead with six while Marshall added five.
The Vikings will face Onalaska on Monday while the Riverhawks will try to regroup against Raymond/South Bend on Tuesday.
