A 39-year-old Cinebar man could face DUI and reckless driving charges after crashing his motorcycle into an oncoming vehicle on state Route 508 on Saturday, May 10, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Johnny S. Collier was traveling east between Cinebar and Centralia Alpha Road on a 2003 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail at about 5:20 p,m. Collier swerved into the westbound lane and struck a 2022 Ford F-250 driven by James C. Wright, 39, of Mossyrock.
Wright and a passenger, Kathleen K. Wright, 40, of Glenoma, were not injured. Both were wearing seat belts.
Collier, who was wearing a helmet, was transported to Providence Centralia Hospital for treatment.
The state patrol listed the cause of the crash as improper lane usage and noted that drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
