Napavine schools sent 18 students to the SkillsUSA state competitions March 27-29 at Clover Park Technical College.
Two students received gold medals and will be competing at SkillsUSA Nationals in Atlanta, Georgia, in June.
Lyla Kirkpatrick received a gold in Prepared Speaking and Madelyn Stroup received gold in Job Skills Demonstration.
A fundraising night with a spaghetti dinner, basket bingo and the Napavine Jazz Band performing entertainment is planned for May 2.
Other students medaling included Briley Fay with a silver medal in Job Skills Demonstration and the Middle School Engineering Team placing bronze. Napavine students also competed in Culinary, Welding Sculpture, Robotic Urban Search and Rescue, Job Interview and First Aid-CPR competitions.
