The Napavine girls soccer team got back into the win column Monday, beating 1A Eatonville 3-2 in a non-league contest.

The Tigers (2-2-2, 0-0-1 C2BL) never trailed, but found themselves tied at 2-2 late, before Hannah Fay scored her second goal of the night off an assist from Maya Kunkel to give the hosts the win.

Fay started the scoring in the 21st minute, but Eatonville came back eight minutes later to level it. In the 37th minute, Avery Schutz set up Hayden Kaut, who scored to give Napavine a 2-1 lead at the break.

Eatonville came back midway through the second half to level things for a second time, and it stayed at 2-2 for awhile before Fay’s second won it.

Keeper Taylen Evander stopped 12 of the 14 shots sent her way.

Napavine will head to South Bend on Wednesday to face Raymond-South Bend in a return to Central 2B League play.
