“Not a dry eye in the house,” T-Mobile Park wrote in a Facebook post during opening night for the Seattle Mariners on Thursday.
The ballpark’s page shared photos of Onalaska’s Brody Hamilton running the bases.
“At 9 years old, Brody was diagnosed with a brain tumor and received treatment at Seattle Children’s for over a year,” the post read. “Now 11 and cancer-free, Brody welcomed in our 50th season with the Make-a-Wish Foundation Ceremonial Run Around the Bases.”
After the diagnosis in 2024, the Onalaska community raised thousands of dollars for his treatment through a series of fundraisers.
