Noxious Weed Identification Class Scheduled for March 17 in Onalaska

There will be a class on how to identify noxious apiaceae weeds on March 17 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Onalaska Fire Department, located at 1733 Main Ave., Onalaska. 

It will cover topics like identifying giant hogweed versus native cow parsnip, poison hemlock versus water hemlock, and wild carrot and chervils so attendees can address them appropriately. Those who attend can earn two pesticide credits for free. 

Attendees are encouraged to pre-register as space is limited.
