The Onalaska girls basketball team couldn’t get going on offense on Saturday, as the Loggers scored just 33 points in a 44-33 loss to Toutle Lake.
As a team, Onalaska scored more than nine in just one quarter, and it finished the night shooting just 13 of 51 (25.5 percent) from the floor.
“The effort was there tonight, but we greatly struggled offensively,” Onalaska coach Alana Olson said. “We have to get back to work on Monday and come out better on Tuesday. This is a gritty team, and I have no doubt we will bounce back.”
Delaney Marshall led the Loggers with 11 points, while Emalie Jacoby added nine and Kiley Talley added seven points and eight rebounds.
Renzy Marshall scored one point but also recorded nine rebounds, three steals, and three assists.
Entering their final game, the Loggers (14-5, 3-4 C2BL) sit in a three-way tie with Toutle Lake and Mossyrock for the No. 4 seed. Onalaska will head to Mossyrock on Tuesday.
