An Onalaska man faces potential charges of driving under the influence after the 2016 Chevrolet Silverado he was operating “left the roadway and struck a fence” off state Route 508, according to a memo from the Washington State Patrol.
Lachlan E. Scott, 27, was booked into the Lewis County Jail at about 12:25 a.m. on Friday, according to jail records.
The incident occurred around 7:29 p.m. Oct. 16 when Scott was traveling east on state Route 508. The cause of the accident was listed as “speeds too fast for conditions.”
Scott was driving alone, according to the memo. Though the state patrol noted that he sustained injuries, Scott was reportedly not transported to the hospital from the scene.
