Fueled by a handful of aces and Emalie Jacoby’s double-double, the Loggers secured their second win in as many days against an east side team on Friday night, sweeping East Valley Yakima 25-18, 25-15, 25-12.

Jacoby ended the day with 19 kills and 14 digs, both team-bests. She alongside Sommer Hammer and Karsyn Koenig totaled seven aces. Faith Hammer and Capril McGraw each had five kills plus Braelyn Babb notched 16 assists.

We played pretty solid, we had to work through some things, found our team strength and made our own energy throughout the matches,” Onalaska head coach Susan Gordon said.

The Loggers will take on Rainier in a non-league matchup on Tuesday.
