One person injured after structure fire in Centralia

A Centralia resident suffered burn injuries following a residential structure fire in the 200 block of L Street at around 3:13 a.m. early Wednesday morning, according to a social media post from the Riverside Fire Authority (RFA).

RFA personnel responded to a reported structure fire involving a single-story small family home. The fire was extinguished and confined to the area of origin. The area involved had fire, smoke and water damage. The cause of the fire is under investigation, RFA said.



The injured resident declined transport for treatment. No responders or bystanders were injured.

RFA units received assistance from the Chehalis Fire Department, Lewis County Fire District 6 and the Centralia Police Department.
