Brayden Oram's walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh gave Tumwater a 4-3 win over Class 4A Union on the road Wednesday in a non-league tilt.
It was a comeback win for the Thunderbirds, who trailed in the fifth inning after a three-run double by Titans’ Dylan Osborne.
But Tumwater rallied back with a home run in the sixth followed by Oram’s walk-off in the seventh to seal the win for the Thunderbirds.
Oram finished with a game-high three hits and three RBI, while Jack Worgum added two hits and Alex Overbay drove in a run.
Jordan Hanson and Blake Smith each recorded four strikeouts across three innings on the mound for the T-Birds.
Tumwater (1-0) heads back to Vancouver to face Prairie at 4 p.m. on Friday in another non-league contest.
