Oregon motorcyclist airlifted after crashing on I-5 in Lewis County

A motorcyclist from Oregon was airlifted to Tacoma General Hospital after crashing on Interstate 5 in Lewis County on Saturday morning. 

Todd K. Campbell, 64, of Cloverdale, Oregon, was traveling southbound on I-5 at mile marker 73 at about 10:30 a.m. when his motorcycle struck the jersey barrier and came to rest on the left shoulder, according to the Washington State Patrol. 



Campbell was wearing a helmet at the time. Drugs and alcohol were not a factor in the crash, according to the state patrol. 

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
