The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and other coastal Oregon law enforcement agencies are searching for a 2-year-old boy who went missing from his Siletz home on Saturday afternoon.

Dane Paulsen was last seen playing in the front yard of his house near milepost 21 on the Siletz River Highway, the sheriff’s office said on Sunday morning. Local law enforcement searched the area on foot and with drones after he was reported missing around 4:30 Saturday, but has not found him.

Paulsen was wearing a gray fuzzy sweatshirt with ears, blue and white shoes and black pants, the sheriff’s office said. He has brown hair and green eyes.

Police are also looking for a late ‘90s, gold station wagon that was seen in the area before Paulsen went missing.

The sheriff’s office is asking anyone with knowledge of Paulsen’s whereabouts, or a vehicle matching the station wagon’s description, to call its tip line at (541) 265-0669 or the non-emergency dispatch line at (541) 265-0777.
