‘Phantoms of the Past’: Lewis County’s ghost stories to be told at McMenamins Olympic Club in Centralia

With Halloween approaching, Lewis County locals are invited to McMenamins Olympic Club to learn about the county’s haunted past as Olympia Oddities podcast host Trista Heenan shares ghostly tales of supernatural and paranormal occurrences that have spooked residents for decades.

In “Phantoms of the Past: Exploring Lewis County’s Ghost Stories,” Heenan will discuss Lewis County mysteries still lingering in the shadows, including tales of disembodied voices and ghostly apparitions at the Fort Borst Blockhouse, Centralia’s old hospital and Brenson’s Hollow, a supposedly haunted forest with an old cemetery in Winlock.

“Phantoms of the Past” is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 15, with doors opening at 6 p.m. and Heenan beginning at 7 p.m. at McMenamins — which some say is haunted itself. It is located at 112 N. Tower Ave. in Centralia.

The show is for all ages. Tickets to “Phantoms of the Past” are $5 and can be purchased at the door or ahead of time online at McMenamins’ website at https://tinyurl.com/37uxuacx
