Photo: Lenticular Clouds Form Crown on Mount Rainier

Clouds form over the summit of Mount Rainier Wednesday morning in this photograph captured from Chehalis. The clouds sparked fears the mountain was erupting Wednesday morning as residents of the Seattle area saw them whisping over the summit. The National Park Service eventually issued a news release stating there was no new volcanic activity at Mount Rainier.
