Photo: Mount Rainier National Park Shares NASA Photo of Mount Rainier Rivers and Glaciers for World Water Day
Mount Rainier National Park celebrated World Water Day March 22 by posting this National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) photo of glaciers and rivers radiating out from Mount Rainier’s summit. “These glaciers and rivers are essential sources of water for our region, but many people around the world do not have access to clean water,” the park wrote on Facebook. “The goal of World Water Day is clean water for all by 2030.”
