Port of Chehalis commissioners on Thursday unanimously approved Lindsey Senter’s contract to serve as port CEO, marking an end to a months-long search for Randy Mueller’s replacement.

According to her employment agreement, Senter will make an annual base salary of $100,000, which will increase by $5,000 after she completes her bachelor’s degree this fall. She will also receive a health and retirement benefits package.

Senter currently works as the Port of Chehalis’s director of operations and administration.

Commissioner Mark Giffey said Senter will be required to obtain a real estate broker’s license before her first annual review. Following that first review, she may be subject to a $10,000 performance bonus, according to the agreement.

Her first day on the job is Dec. 1. Mueller’s final day will be Nov. 30.  Mueller will lead the Port of Ridgefield after his departure from the Port of Chehalis later this year.
