Rainier’s Lily Peralta finished tied for second at the 1B/2B Girls State Golf Championships in Liberty Lake, where she posted a two-day score of 166.
Peralta entered Day 2 in third place and just one stroke behind the co-leaders, and she improved on her Day 1 score by four strokes.
The winner, Wahkiakum’s Brienna Cothern, posted a 71 on the second day to pull away, though.
Adna’s Kalli Christen also competed on Day 2, and she went on to finish 17th with a two-day score of 205.
