Residents, dogs safe as Boistfort fire department responds to structure fire

Lewis County Fire District 13 — also known as the Boistfort Firefighters Association — responded to a residential structure fire early Friday in the 2400 block of Wildwood Road.

According to the agency, all individuals, including their dogs, were able to evacuate the residence. The American Red Cross will assist the displaced residents.

The fire department received aid from Lewis County Fire District 6, Lewis County Fire District 11, Riverside Fire Authority and Cowlitz-Lewis Fire District 20.
