The Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) is looking to fill vacancies on the Southwest Washington Fair Advisory Board, the group that helps shape decisions about the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds.
The theme for this year’s fair is “Ride into History at the Southwest Washington Fair” in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, according to a recent news release from the BOCC.
The Fair Advisory Board meets at the fairgrounds at 5 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month.
To apply for a position on the Fair Advisory Board, submit an application and a letter of interest by 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, in one of three ways:
• By mail at 351 NW North St., Chehalis, WA 98532.
• Via email (attn.: Fair) at committees@lewiscountywa.gov.
• In person at the commissioners’ office on the second floor of the Historic Lewis County Courthouse, 351 NW North St., Chehalis.
