Riverhawks blast Loggers in doubleheader sweep

The Toledo baseball team dominated Onalaska on the road on Monday, as the Riverhawks beat the Loggers 14-0 and 24-0 in a league doubleheader.

Caiden Schultz and Gavin Frewing combined to throw a five-inning perfect game in Game 1, striking out 11 of the 15 batters they faced.

Frewing also had a tremendous game at the plate, going 3 for 4 with six runs batted in, while Mason Ruiz and Nico Acosta also brought home a run.

Rogan Stanley, Kaven Winters, and Eli Weeks had similar success on the bump in Game 2, combining to strike out seven in a four-inning no-hitter.

Kaven Winters tallied four RBIs, including a three-run home run, in the second game, while Rohan Feigenbaum went 3 for 3 with three RBIs. Weeks collected two hits and brought home a pair.

Stanley, Ruiz, Frewing, and Bayron Rodriguez also drove in multiple runs.

Onalaska (0-18, 0-16 C2BL) will wrap up its league season with a two-game set against Adna that begins Friday at Adna. Toledo’s (10-9, 9-7 C2BL) regular season will also come to an end over the weekend, as they’ll head to Morton on Friday before hosting the Timberwolves on Saturday.
