That much was true for the Toledo girls soccer team on Wednesday, when a flurry of goals in both halves led to a 6-0 win in Ilwaco.

The Riverhawks’ first three goals of the game came in just a three-minute stretch in the middle of the first half.

Xtyn Norberg scored off an assist from Peyton Holter in the 18th minute, Holter got a goal of her own off an assist from Aspen Cooper in the 19th, and Ryah Stanley scored an unassisted goal in the 20th.

After the half, Itzibeth Villalba Hernandez scored in the 41st minute, and two minutes later, she assisted Zaya Norberg’s goal.

Randi Reynolds got the assist for Villalba Hernandez’s goal, and in the 58th minute, Reynolds scored a goal of her own. Xtyn Norberg got the assist on the sixth and final goal.

By the end of the match, the Riverhawks had outshot the Fishermen 23-0.

In net, Mylee Schlecht and Ivana Cabrera combined for the shutout.
