Toledo made quick work of Winlock in its series opener on Monday, dominating the Cardinals 21-0 to pick up its fourth straight win.

The Riverhawks (4-0) jumped on top instantly, putting up six runs in the first, and they also put up a crooked number in the third by adding eight more runs.

Austin Reed hit three doubles and drove in five runs, while Nico Acosta hit a triple and two doubles while picking up two RBIs of his own. Joquian Acosta added a triple and a double while driving in three runs, and Ryker Hansen also hit a double and drove in two runs as part of a 2 for 4 afternoon.

Rohan Feigenbaum pitched the first four innings, allowing zero hits while striking out seven and walking just two. Isaac Parmantier capped the combined no-no by pitching a perfect fifth, striking out two in the frame.

Carlos Magallon and Stryker Armitage were Winlock’s lone baserunners in the loss, as they both drew walks in their only plate appearance of the game.

Winlock (2-3, 2-3 C2BL) and Toledo (4-0, 3-0 C2BL) will face off again on Wednesday in Toledo.
