Toledo and Mossyrock went the distance in Mossyrock on Monday night, and it was the Riverhawks that pulled off a thrilling 25-15,15-25, 20-25, 25-21, 15-9 victory.
Ellie Fallon was all over the floor for Toledo, totalling 26 kills, 18 digs, nine three-point passes, three aces, and three blocks while posting a hit efficiency percentage of .328.
Lexi Young added 12 digs, eight kills, seven three-point passes, and three aces, and Taysia Miller added seven kills and three aces. Sidney Kruger finished with 43 assists, 16 digs, and a block, and Abby Umbriaco added five kills.
Brenna Carver logged nine digs defensively, and she also delivered an ace to seal the game on her only serve of the night.
Toledo coach Kelli Larson said that it was “an exciting match,” and she also credited Young for her “focus and enthusiasm throughout the highs and lows.”
Kendall Cournyer did it on both ends for the Vikings, recording 15 digs and 14 kills, while Leah Contreras had an excellent night at the net with six kills and six blocks.
Adyson Barrows tallied 26 digs, eight kills, and three aces, Taylor Schwartz collected 39 digs, and Calliope Schultz added 24 assists and 14 digs.
Toledo (13-3, 4-3 C2BL) will wrap up its regular season at home against Morton-White Pass on Wednesday, while Mossyrock (8-7, 4-3 C2BL) will head to Toutle Lake for its finale at the same time.
