Toledo got back in the win column in convincing fashion on Thursday night, cruising to a 68-18 win over Morton-White Pass.

The Riverhawks got out to a 26-7 lead after one thanks to some takeaways and buckets in transition, and they pushed the lead to 35 heading into the break.

In the second half, the offense slowed down, but still did enough to continue to build the lead. On the other end, they limited the Timberwolves to just seven second-half points.

Four Riverhawks scored 10 or more points, and a fifth scored nine.

Ellie Fallon led the way with 16 points, six rebounds, and four steals, while Sydney Kruger scored 14 points.

Kailea Lairson added 11 points, six rebounds, four steals, and a pair of blocks, Taysia Miller added 10 points, and Ryah Stanley scored nine points. Peyton Holter added four points and five steals, while both Grace Layton and Zaya Norberg scored two.

“Having nearly five girls score in double figures is what we like to see,” Toledo coach Brian Layton said. “Proud of our girls and their growth as a team.”

Ryelin Wiedenmann and Layna Sams both scored five points to lead the T-Wolves, while Malia Armstrong scored four. Samantha Lougee and Chevy Fuller added two apiece.

Toledo (11-4, 3-2 C2BL) will head to Napavine on Saturday, while MWP (11-8, 1-5 C2BL) will host Adna Tuesday in Randle.
