The Toledo girls soccer team had no trouble scoring in bunches on Wednesday, as the Riverhawks topped Winlock 13-0.

Ryah Stanley needed just four minutes to get Toledo on the scoreboard, and Peyton Holter scored the first of her two goals just six minutes later. Stanley added her second later in the first half. Hope Gould also converted on a penalty kick in the first half.

Onica Chase also scored two goals in the win, and Xtyn Norberg recorded a hat-trick with goals in the 22nd, 43rd, and 56th minute.

Halie Cournyer, Randi Reynolds, and Georgia Chase also found the back of the net in the win.

“We’ve been outshooting teams, but we haven’t finished our shots,” Toledo coach Horst Malunat said. “We finished really well tonight.”

Malunat said he was able to get all 19 of his players in, and he was pleased to see eight different players get on the scoresheet.

“Hopefully, we can continue this,” Malunat said. “We may not have as many chances (in the future) as we did tonight, but if we can finish a couple more than (the opponent) does, then we win the game.”

The Riverhawks (5-4-1, 2-0-1 C2BL) have a big matchup coming up after the weekend, as they’ll host Napavine, which is unbeaten in league play, on Monday.

The Cardinals (3-2, 1-2 C2BL) will have a shorter turnaround, as they’ll head to Muckleshoot Tribal for a non-league game on Thursday.
