The Toledo volleyball team had few problems Thursday night about its business, sweeping 1B Lake Quinault 25-13, 25-12, 25-14.
“It went well,” Toledo coach Kelli Larson said. “We dominated throughout the game, we passed well, and were able to run a dynamic offense. “
Ellie Fallon led the Riverhawks (2-1) with 11 kills, while Stefa Arceo-Hansen and Jordynne Hensley had five apiece.
Both Lyndzie Filla and Whitney Olson had five aces; as a team, the Riverhawks logged 22.
On defense, Filla led the team with nine digs, and Arceo-Hansen and Olson both added eight.
“They’re playing better together each game,” Larson said. “Getting more cohesive on the court, and that’s nice to see.”
Toledo will take on Rainier in a non-league matchup between C2BL foes next Tuesday.
