The Riverside Fire Authority is investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed a 1950s single-family residence in Centralia on Saturday.
In a Monday news release, the fire department said the 1700-square-foot home was “considered a complete loss.”
Firefighters responded to the reported structure fire in the 2700 block of North Pearl Street at about 6:04 a.m. Saturday and arrived to visible smoke and flames. All occupants had evacuated the building. The department said the fire was contained to the home.
“Three individuals were displaced from the property and were provided assistance through Red Cross,” the department said in the release.
The Riverside Fire Authority reported aid from the Chehalis Fire Department and Lewis County Fire District 6.
