A Salkum man is set to be sentenced Jan. 7 for sexually assaulting a child between 2013 and 2015.
Brady Murray Figueredo, 38, pleaded guilty Dec. 3 to one count each of indecent liberties by forcible compulsion, a class A felony punishable by up to life in prison; and third-degree assault of a child, a class C felony punishable by up to 5 years in prison.
The charges are downgraded from the “most serious offense” and class B felony he was initially charged with in March 2025.
Figueredo was initially arrested March 12 and posted $50,000 bail to be released from the Lewis County Jail on March 13, according to court records. He was booked back into the Lewis County Jail after he entered his guilty pleas on Dec. 3 and will remain in custody at least until his sentencing hearing.
