Show must go on: Centralia’s Lighted Tractor Parade to be held Saturday despite recent flooding

Posted

The Centralia Lighted Tractor Parade is still set to roll through downtown Centralia at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, despite the recent stretch of inclement weather and localized flooding.

Organizers have announced they will be moving the parade forward as planned, as forecasts are clear.

The Centralia Downtown Association will continue to keep an eye on conditions, but with improving weather, the tractors, floats and festive lights are all gearing up, a news release stated.

“We know how much our community looks forward to this parade every year and are thrilled to keep this tradition rolling,” organizers stated in a news release. “We’re grateful for the window in the weather and are committed to keeping everyone informed should anything change.”

Residents and visitors are encouraged to stay up to date on all event details, weather-related adjustments and parade information by following the Centralia Washington Lighted Tractor Parade page on Facebook.
